Studio Workouts

Prior to my 30s, I was fairly inactive. At most I'd go on hikes once/week, but always gasped for air at any incline. I would try random exercises here and there, but nothing was consistent. In 2015, at age 30, a friend encouraged me to check out a studio workout class with her. Since then, I have been consistently working out 3 - 5 times/week. And it's all thanks to studio/in-class workouts. They are effective because my motivation is low to work out alone, and my current living situation doesn't have the space for me to do so. There are so many options and I'm in between memberships now and want to decide on a new routine. Below is my short list. The pricing options are based on numbers from Bay Area Peninsula studios. I may go back to CrossFit, but would need to supplement it with yoga and/or running to round out my workout regimen. Next Solo Trip

My boyfriend and I just returned from the Caribbean islands, which are still very much recovering from hurricane Irma in 2017. Two things we learned on our trip were to plan the location well, and do not skimp on the accommodation budget! Not even before our plane touched down in the Bay Area had I already started thinking about my next solo trip. This wanderlust feeling definitely only exists in certain people. While sitting on beaches in St. Thomas, I enjoyed the sun bathing and people watching, but I also read about things like real estate and the hottest 2019 places to travel! My list below was specifically thought out. It includes locations I have not visited before, places I want to visit, and places that have low likelihood that my boyfriend would want to visit with me in the next few years.
