Studio Workouts
Prior to my 30s, I was fairly inactive. At most I'd go on hikes once/week, but always gasped for air at any incline. I would try random exercises here and there, but nothing was consistent. In 2015, at age 30, a friend encouraged me to check out a studio workout class with her. Since then, I have been consistently working out 3 - 5 times/week. And it's all thanks to studio/in-class workouts. They are effective because my motivation is low to work out alone, and my current living situation doesn't have the space for me to do so. There are so many options and I'm in between memberships now and want to decide on a new routine. Below is my short list. The pricing options are based on numbers from Bay Area Peninsula studios. I may go back to CrossFit, but would need to supplement it with yoga and/or running to round out my workout regimen.
